Customer is one of the major FMCG Company and have a verity of products in home care segment particularly specializing in detergent bars and cakes, as well as bath soaps. The range of products have a retail reach of over Five million retail outlets and more than 75 million loyal consumers spread all over the country.

  • The Current Laminate structure that brand was using was PET/ White LD 
  • Sustainability Concerns: Environmental Impact - Non sustainable structure
  • High in Costs: Existing Laminate structure was expensive resulting in low profitability

Proposing Sustainable Structure -

 CVHR BOPP + White CPP  which ensured ;

i) Polyolefin Origin: BOPP and CPP being thermoplastic polymers & derived from hydrocarbons share similar chemical compositions. 

ii) Compatibility: The compatibility of polymers enabled effective separation during recycling process, even when they are laminated with other materials.

iii) Recycling Technologies like near-infrared sorting, float-sink separation, and chemical recycling have improved the ability to separate and process BOPP and CPP from complex laminate structures.
