CCI (Govt body) was established under the administrative control of Ministry of Textiles, Government of India as a Public Sector Undertaking.
Client’s Pain Points
- CCI struggled with the durability for paper based tags while labeling cotton crop bundles with crop information.
- CCI required non tearable, moisture & chemical resistant papers as it was an outdoor application.
- The requirement involved bending & folding hence CCI needed a flexible films for crop tagging
Our Solution
- Cosmo understood the issue of the Label Company and worked with customer in developing 120 micron, standard Cosmo Synthetic Paper.
- The grade was non tear able, moisture, chemical & oil resistant. With Excellent folding endurance and superior tensile & tear strength.
- CCI initiated the tender for the labelling of the Cotton bundles, customer offered Cosmo's grade of 120 CSPS NTC and won the tender for Ahmedabad.
Client’s Benefits
- Business Increase: CCI has 16 units, each issuing tenders for 2 million QR codes, totaling 32 million pages annually. After winning the first tender, Cosmo's end customer’s business grew and now participating in all 16 tenders.
- Versatility of the grade: After the first year of tender, 2 new customers started participating in the same with the same product but applied different technology.
- All three customers are able to use different printing technologies ( Flexo, Digital & offset) on the same product
